As one of our Lead Flash/Flex Engineers your first mission will be the new design and development of the latest cutting-edge platform for an online product configurator for a major apparel brand. The Flash application is evolving to support a cutting edge approach to artistically transform uploaded graphics for digital printing on personalized purchases using sophisticated algorithms, as well as a new eCommerce backend and a high profile global launch. All of the work you do at Fluid will leverage experience in design and client technology as you embed AS2 and AS3 user interface controls into sophisticated XHTML pages in concert with content management and eCommerce systems. Some other keys to your success here include:
- Object-oriented Analysis and Design. You’re grounded in UML and design patterns. You can clearly analyze and decompose domains and problems using object-oriented terminology and notations. You can analyze thoroughly, condense concisely and communicate clearly.
- ActionScript. Whether it’s AS2 or AS3, you can write ActionScript classes that are well-architected and object oriented. You’ll go to the head of the line if you can write ActionScript code that integrates with server technology.
- Coding Fundamentals. We’ll look to you for code that’s well documented, clearly formatted, efficient, runs quickly and is easy to understand and maintain.
- Leadership. We’re open both to current team leads and to those who want to advance their career by taking on a leadership role. You’ll interact with other software engineers, project managers, creative teams and our clients so you must demonstrate solid communication and organizational skills.
