Job Description:

• Work from both abstract requirements/specifications as well as well-documented functional specifications in the development of the application using J2EE with a heavy focus on Flex and ActionScript
• Work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Independently develop a software module end-to-end
• Mentor and facilitate growth of junior programmers
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders throughout the business and other team members, both verbally and in writing
• 5+ years of Java/J2EE development experience with a strong understanding of Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming concepts
• 1+ years Flex and ActionScript development experience focused on UI in leveraging OO technologies
• Experience with SQL Server 2000/2005 or Oracle
• Experience deploying applications on Unix/Linux, as well as experience with shell scripting or other common command line programs.
