Job Description:

We are looking for looking for seasoned Adobe Flex Developer with a strong background in computer science who are interested in a software development role. Qualified candidates should be able to work in a high energy environment and exhibit creative thinking/collaboration. Candidates for these internships should also demonstrate the ability to turn ideas into reality, communicate effectively, and work closely with others in the team.

Software Developers will develop, enrich and support ZTS’s flagship product targeted for the high-growth area of Healthcare Information Technology. Our positions offer an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in an extremely competitive but growing team of developers and business professionals focused on employing the next generation of software for solving today’s healthcare IT problems. You will gain real life experience working with state-of-the art technologies such as Adobe Flex, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, JBoss etc.

Strongly prefer candidates that are pursuing a degree in a technical discipline, or a business/design discipline with demonstrated technical background. Searching for candidates who have a strong foundation in software. Looking for candidates who have solid teamwork skills, leadership ability, problem solving skills, analytical thinking skills, multi-tasking skills, written and verbal communication skills as well as a proven focus on customer success.

Optional technical skills: Previous work/internship experience in software projects.

Knowledge of: Java/J2EE, Eclipse, XML/schema, PostgreSQL/MySQL/MS SQL databases is a plus.

Exposure to: Software engineering processes/tools/methods, Software Design, Test, Development, Support, Documentation, Business tools and methodologies, Troubleshooting and Problem resolution, Customer facing experience are all a plus.
